Our highly innovative sustainability-focused client is seeking a talented and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical teams in software, firmware, and embedded systems development. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executive team members to establish a technology vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission and goals

• Develop and lead the execution of a technical roadmap that supports the company’s business objectives

• Lead the technical teams in software, firmware, and embedded systems development, providing guidance and mentorship to team members

• Develop and implement software development methodologies, processes, and best practices that ensure high-quality and timely delivery of products and services

• Manage the technical budget, including resource allocation and planning

• Drive innovation and identify emerging technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the company’s products and services

• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and requirements are being met through the company’s technical solutions

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the technical teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in software development or hardware engineering and technical leadership, preferably in the IOT sector

• Experience leading technical teams in software, firmware, and embedded systems development

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and identify emerging technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the company’s products and services

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services on time and within budget
